Relevant Experience /Parks &
Nature Trails Facilities
- City of Miami, African Square Park. Work consisted
of development of existing conditions plan, which served to show the
location of existing plant material along with their identification
and recommendation for transplantation or removal. We provided development
of concept and Landscape master plan for purpose of revitalizing park.
Work also included Landscape Architectural services such as walkway
design, lighting design, playground design, and seating and bench design.
- Domino Park Expansion & Improvement - City of Miami,
Florida. Our work consisted of site analysis and evaluation, environment
sensitive landscape design, irrigation construction documents and exterior
lighting. Special program elements included an Entry Feature design,
and pavement to showcase artwork from local Hispanic artists. LL&A has
been the instrumental force in the design interest to create a focal
point for Little Havana that reflects the diversity of the urban context,
stimulates community activities and provides an international landmark
for tourist. (See Rendering provided).
- City of Coral Gables / Biltmore Hotel & Golf Facility.
Work consisted of an assessment of existing conditions, providing recommendations
for Plan, the landscape and irrigation plan, construction details, and
specifications.(See Photos provided).
- City of Coral Gables/Coral Gables Linear Park.
Our work consisted of development of existing conditions plan, which
served to show the location of existing plant material along with their
identification and recommendation for transplantation or removal. We
provided development of concept and Landscape master plan. Work also
included meeting with homeowners along area to be affected and Landscape
Architectural services for entrance features, signs, lighting design
and wall design.
- Lipton International Tennis Center Stadium, Key
Biscayne, for Miami-Dade County Parks & Recreation Dept. Our work
consisted of development of Landscape and Irrigation plans from schematic
phase through construction documents for the Stadium. The "drip method"
of irrigation was used since most of the landscape was planter based.
